Refund Policy
Tomaru web subscriptions are sold through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Initial subscription charges may be refunded within 14 days, while renewals are generally non-refundable except for billing errors, duplicate charges, unresolved material service failures, or mandatory legal rights.

- Tomaru is a recurring subscription service.
- For web purchases, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles checkout, payment processing, tax collection, and invoicing.
- This policy applies to Tomaru web subscriptions purchased through Paddle.
Eligibility
- You may request a refund within 14 days of the first successful paid subscription charge.
- If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, the 14-day period starts on the first paid charge after the trial.
- Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable.
- We may approve a refund for a renewal only in cases of duplicate billing, billing error, or a material technical failure that prevented reasonable access to the paid service and was not resolved after support review.
How to request a refund
- For billing or refund requests, use the "View receipt" link in your Paddle receipt or contact Paddle buyer support at paddle.net.
- For product, access, or technical issues, contact Tomaru support first using the support details listed on this page so we can investigate and try to resolve the issue.
- Please include the purchase email address, receipt number, and a short description of the issue with your request.
How refunds are handled
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
- Access to the refunded subscription may end when the refund is issued.
- Chargebacks, fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour may result in a refund being declined and may also lead to account restrictions.
Mandatory rights
- Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
- Where mandatory local law gives you a stronger right to cancel or withdraw, that law overrides this policy to the extent required.
